Zamalek entered the final round of the league needing a victory to officially seal the title, amid strong competition that lasted until the final weeks of the season. The White team completed their mission against Ceramica Cleopatra, securing the Egyptian Premier League title after a season marked by intense rivalry at the top.

At Cairo Stadium, Zamalek managed to win 1–0 thanks to a goal from Palestinian forward Odai Dabbagh, earning three crucial points that confirmed their 15th league title in club history. The match ended with celebrations from players and fans following the final whistle.

Dabbagh Secures the Title for Zamalek

Zamalek started the match strongly and took an early lead through Odai Dabbagh in the 8th minute, after he capitalized on a defensive mistake inside the penalty area and calmly finished into the net against Ceramica Cleopatra.

Ceramica tried to get back into the game in both halves, creating several chances, but Zamalek’s defense and goalkeeper Mohamed Awad held firm. Awad also played a key role by saving a penalty in the second half.

Zamalek also pushed forward to extend their lead, but the single goal was enough to secure both the match and the championship for the White team.

Zamalek Overcomes Challenges to Win the League

Zamalek’s league triumph came after a season filled with several challenges, both administrative and technical, yet the team managed to maintain consistency in crucial matches until the end.

Zamalek finished top of the table with 56 points, while Pyramids came second and Al Ahly third, confirming Zamalek’s superiority in this season’s title race.

Odai Dabbagh also stood out in the match, winning Man of the Match after his decisive contribution to securing the title, continuing his strong performances with Zamalek in recent weeks.
