Egyptian FA President Hany Abo Rida announced that the Board of Directors had approved the renewal of Hossam Hassan's contract, while also retaining Ibrahim Hassan as team director, underlining the federation's belief in the technical project that has restored Egypt's status on both the continental and international stage.

Abo Rida added that the formal procedures to finalize the new agreement will be completed during the next board meeting, once the national team delegation returns to Cairo, making the renewal officially effective.
