Sports broadcaster Ahmed Shobier raised concerns over Egypt’s preparations for the U-23 national team, pointing out that the team still lacks a clearly appointed head coach.

Shobier stressed the need for a quick decision, suggesting that the federation could turn to a local coach. He mentioned Ali Maher, Rabie Yassin, Hamza El-Gamal and Mohamed El-Sheikh among the potential candidates.

The key issue is time. The new coach would need sufficient preparation to build the squad and organize the team ahead of the upcoming international commitments.
