Abdallah El-Said on the Verge of Leaving Zamalek? Crucial Meeting to Decide His Future

Abdallah El-Said’s future at Zamalek has entered a more complicated phase after the player submitted a request to terminate his contract by mutual consent, with the club currently reviewing the situation amid an ongoing dispute over delayed financial dues.
No final decision has been reached yet, as Zamalek is approaching the case cautiously while considering its financial and administrative position and protecting the club’s rights.
The Financial Dispute Complicates the Situation
El-Said is under contract with Zamalek until the summer of 2027, but he has been absent from the team’s preparations for the new season since returning from his vacation in Greece.
The dispute centers on outstanding financial payments. According to the reports cited by the sources, the player has received only a limited portion of his delayed dues despite previous promises regarding the settlement of the issue, prompting him to request the termination of his contract.
Zamalek, however, has not confirmed that a final agreement over the player’s departure has been reached. The club is reportedly studying the case from several financial and administrative angles before making its final decision.
A New Meeting to Decide His Future
A new meeting between Zamalek officials and El-Said’s agent is expected to take place as both sides attempt to reach a clear solution regarding the player’s future.
While a departure is now a realistic possibility, it has not yet been finalized. Zamalek is also reportedly considering relying more heavily on younger players in El-Said’s position.
A potential move to another Egyptian club is also uncertain. El-Said has been linked with both Al Masry and Ceramica Cleopatra, but reports indicate that both clubs have reservations related to squad balance and the availability of players in his position.
For now, the financial dispute remains at the heart of the crisis. Zamalek wants to make a decision that protects the club’s interests, while the player is seeking to secure his outstanding financial rights.
El-Said therefore finds himself at a genuine crossroads: either the two sides reach an agreement that allows him to return to the team’s plans, or his spell at Zamalek comes to an end after helping the club win the Egyptian Premier League title last season.
