Hossam Hassan’s second wife, Dan Adam, will no longer appear on social media following the recent controversy surrounding the Egypt head coach’s family, according to her lawyer Mohamed Shams.

Shams said in televised remarks that the decision was taken in coordination with Hassan, adding that no new videos concerning the family’s private life would be posted on social media.

The lawyer also apologised for previous family videos which had upset sections of the Egyptian and Arab public, stressing that similar content would not be published again.

Family Videos Under Scrutiny

Adam has frequently appeared alongside Hassan in social media videos in recent years, bringing aspects of the Egypt manager’s private and family life into the public eye.

The development comes just weeks before Hossam Hassan turns his attention back to Egypt’s national team, with the Pharaohs set to begin their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign between 21 September and 6 October. Egypt were drawn in a group alongside Angola, Malawi and South Sudan.
