Pyramids are preparing for another important test in the Egyptian Premier League as they face Al Masry, with head coach Rulani Mokwena making several changes to his options.

The main change is the inclusion of new signing Ahmed Nazir Bouali, while Mostafa Ziko remains out of the squad.

Pyramids will face Al Masry at New Suez Stadium in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League, with the team looking for a positive result and a strong continuation to the start of the season.

Pyramids opened their league campaign with an impressive 3-0 victory over Ghazl El Mahalla before facing Abu Qir Fertilizers in the second round.

Bouali Arrives

Ahmed Nazir Bouali has been included in Pyramids' squad for the Al Masry match following his arrival at the club, giving Mokwena another attacking option.

The goalkeepers selected are Ahmed El Shenawy, Mahmoud Gad and Hazem Gamal.

In defence, Pyramids have Mohamed El Shibi, Khaled Awad, Ahmed Samy, Mahmoud Marei, Osama Galal, Eyad El Askalany and Karim Hafez.

The midfield options include Mohannad Lasheen, Walid El Karti, Hamed Hamdan, Ahmed Tawfik, Nasser Maher, Mostafa Fathi, Abdelrahman Magdy, Mahmoud Zalaka, Ouda Al Fakhouri, Ahmed Abdelkader and Ahmed Atef Otta.

The attacking group includes Dodo El Gabbas, Youssef Obama and new signing Ahmed Nazir Bouali.

Pyramids travelled to Suez after completing their final training session at the Air Defense Stadium in Cairo, before entering camp ahead of the game.

Ziko Still Out

Mostafa Ziko remains unavailable after previously missing matches because of a strong knee bruise.

Ziko was absent against Ghazl El Mahalla and also missed the Abu Qir Fertilizers match. His name is also not included in Mokwena's squad for the meeting with Al Masry.

Against Abu Qir, Mokwena started Ahmed El Shenawy in goal, with Mohamed El Shibi, Ahmed Samy, Mahmoud Marei and Karim Hafez in defence.

Mohannad Lasheen, Mahmoud Saber and Walid El Karti played in midfield, while Ouda Al Fakhouri, Mahmoud Zalaka and Youssef Obama formed the attacking line.

The squad selected for the Al Masry match gives Mokwena more attacking choices, especially with the addition of Bouali and the presence of players such as Mostafa Fathi, Ahmed Abdelkader, Abdelrahman Magdy and Nasser Maher.

Pyramids will hope to use these options effectively against Al Masry as they continue their early-season league campaign, while Ziko's return will depend on his full recovery from the knee problem.
