After a Long Absence, Mohamed Abdelmonem Returns to Nice’s Squad Ahead of Le Havre Clash

Mohamed Abdelmonem has been included in Nice’s squad for their upcoming match against Le Havre in Ligue 1. This match, part of the 29th round of the French league, will take place today, Sunday.
Abdelmonem’s Return After a Long Absence
This marks Abdelmonem’s first appearance in the squad after a long absence due to injury. The Egyptian defender had been sidelined for an extended period after suffering an ACL tear during a match against Paris Saint-Germain, which kept him out of action for a considerable time.
Recently, Abdelmonem returned to the pitch with the Egyptian national team during the international break after recovering fully from his injury. He has been training with his team, Nice, and participated in several friendly matches to regain match fitness.
Abdelmonem Prepares for His Return
The Egyptian defender has now received the green light to join the team’s official match squad, after being absent from official games for a long time. Nice’s manager, Claude Puel, confirmed earlier that the player was ready for a return, highlighting his full participation in team training alongside teammate Yousef Ndaiyishimi.
Currently, Nice stands in 15th place in the Ligue 1 standings with 27 points, while Le Havre sits in 14th with 28 points. Today’s match presents a crucial opportunity for both teams in their fight for survival in the league.
