The Egyptian Professional Football League has officially agreed to move Zamalek's match against Al Masry forward by 24 hours. The game is now scheduled for Sunday, April 5th, instead of Monday. This decision followed a request from Zamalek to allow the team more preparation time before their crucial trip to Algeria to face CR Belouizdad in the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals on April 10th.

This scheduling change provides Zamalek’s coaching staff with an extra day to recover and prepare physically for the demanding journey to Algeria. After successfully eliminating Congo’s Otohô d'Oyo in the previous round, the "White Knights" are focused on securing a positive away result before the second leg, which will take place in Cairo later in April.

In contrast, Zamalek's opponents, CR Belouizdad, are currently facing a major internal crisis. The Algerian club recently announced the temporary suspension of their head coach, Syd Ramovic, appointing interim staff to lead the team. Additionally, the club management has imposed strict disciplinary measures, including fining players and investigating administrative staff to restore order within the squad.

These developments could play a significant role in the upcoming clash. While Zamalek benefits from better rest and stability, Belouizdad is struggling to resolve its internal issues before the big game. All eyes will be on how Zamalek capitalizes on their opponent's instability to secure an advantage in the first leg of this highly anticipated African encounter.
