Sawiris-Owned ORA Signs Four-Year Sponsorship Deal With Egyptian Pro League

The Egyptian Pro League has announced a new four-year sponsorship agreement with ORA Developers Egypt in a move aimed at strengthening the commercial profile of the country's top football competition.
The partnership was unveiled during a ceremony attended by league officials and representatives from ORA, with the agreement set to run until 2030.
ORA, owned by Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris, is one of Egypt's leading real estate developers and has increased its involvement in sport through a number of football-related sponsorships and initiatives in recent years.
A Major Financial Boost for Egyptian Football
League officials hope the agreement will help generate additional revenues and create new commercial opportunities for clubs competing in the Egyptian Premier League.
As part of the announcement, Egyptian Pro League chairman Ahmed Diab revealed a significant increase in financial rewards for clubs. The league champion will receive EGP 50 million next season, while fan-backed clubs competing in the top flight will each receive EGP 40 million in financial support as part of efforts to strengthen competitiveness and improve financial stability.
The deal forms part of a broader strategy by the league to attract greater private-sector investment and enhance the competition's marketability at both the domestic and regional levels.
Egyptian football has witnessed growing interest from corporate partners in recent years as clubs and competition organisers seek to build more sustainable business models beyond traditional sources of income.
League officials are expected to unveil further commercial and marketing initiatives linked to the partnership in the coming months as they look to strengthen the league's brand and expand its reach.
