Omar Fayed’s move across European football is set to bring another benefit to his former club, El Mokawloon Al Arab. As the Egyptian defender prepares to leave Turkish side Fenerbahce for Italian club Frosinone, his expected transfer could generate a new financial return for the Cairo-based club.

El Mokawloon are entitled to 15% of Fayed’s resale value through a sell-on clause included in the agreement that took the defender from the Egyptian club to Fenerbahce.

El Mokawloon Set to Receive 15%

El Mokawloon are now waiting for Fayed’s move to Frosinone to be officially completed so that the club can collect its share of the new transfer.

Mohamed Adel Fathy, vice president of El Mokawloon, confirmed that the club is entitled to 15% of Omar Fayed’s resale value under the agreement previously reached with Fenerbahce.

The clause represents an additional financial return for the Egyptian club and reflects the importance of securing future transfer rights when young players leave the club, particularly those who could continue developing and moving between European teams.

Fayed Begins a New Italian Chapter

Fayed has taken a step closer to his next European adventure after arriving in Rome to complete the procedures related to his expected move to Frosinone.

The Italian move would open a new chapter in the defender’s career, while El Mokawloon remain focused on completing the transfer and receiving the financial percentage secured in the original agreement.

The expected deal therefore represents a double development: Fayed gets the opportunity to continue his European career in Italy, while his former club stands to receive a fresh financial return from a player who came through its youth system.
