Al Ahly have officially secured the long-term future of midfielder Marwan Attia after reaching an agreement to extend his contract until 2030, continuing the club’s efforts to retain key members of the first-team squad.

Fifth Renewal This Summer

Attia has become the fifth Al Ahly player to renew his contract this summer, following Ahmed Nabil Kouka, Hussein El Shahat, Taher Mohamed Taher and Emam Ashour, as the club continues to tie down important players on long-term deals.

Al Ahly had also announced Emam Ashour’s contract extension until 2030 shortly before Attia’s renewal, underlining the club’s strategy of maintaining stability within the core of the squad for the coming seasons.

Attia’s renewal was finalized during a meeting on Wednesday evening with Essam Serag El Din, Al Ahly’s Head of Contracting, who completed the administrative and financial procedures in coordination with Director of Football Wael Gomaa.

Marwan Attia expressed his delight at extending his stay with Al Ahly and continuing his journey with the club and its supporters over the coming years.

Al Ahly did not disclose the financial terms of Attia’s new agreement, with the club also keeping the financial details of its other recent contract renewals private.
