Farco Escalate Zamalek Dispute with EGP27m Complaint over Amr Nasser, Ahmed Sherif Deals

Zamalek have been hit by a new financial dispute after Pharco filed an official complaint with the Egyptian Football Association, demanding EGP 27 million in overdue payments related to the transfers of Amr Nasser and Ahmed Sherif.
Pharco decided to escalate the matter after Zamalek failed to pay several installments agreed upon when the two transfer deals were completed. The club has now referred the case to the EFA Players’ Affairs Committee in an attempt to secure its financial rights under the signed agreements.
EGP 27m Outstanding
Pharco’s claim is divided between the two transfers, with EGP 18 million still outstanding from Amr Nasser’s deal, representing three unpaid installments.
A further EGP 9 million is due from Ahmed Sherif’s transfer, also spread across three installments, taking the total amount included in the complaint to EGP 27 million.
According to the details of the complaint, some of the payments were due between last December and July, but Pharco says the installments were not paid according to the agreed schedule.
Pharco Turns to EFA
With the payments still outstanding, Pharco has taken the dispute to the Egyptian Football Association and asked the Players’ Affairs Committee to take the necessary action under the relevant contracts and regulations.
The club insists on receiving the full amount owed from the two transfers, while both sides now await the committee’s decision and any measures that could follow.
The dispute adds another financial issue to Zamalek’s current challenges, while Egyptian clubs increasingly seek to protect their contractual rights and ensure transfer payments are made on schedule.
