Mostafa Mohamed Gets Warm Konyaspor Welcome as No. 42 Begins New Chapter Until 2029

Egyptian striker Mostafa Mohamed has started a new chapter in his European career after Turkish club Konyaspor officially announced his permanent signing from French side Nantes.
The 28-year-old has signed a three-year contract that will keep him at Konyaspor until the summer of 2029.
The Turkish club also confirmed that Mostafa Mohamed will wear the No. 42 shirt during the new season as he looks to make a strong start and become an important part of the team's attack.
The announcement received a warm reaction from Konyaspor supporters, with many fans welcoming the Egyptian striker on social media and expressing confidence that he can strengthen the team.
Back to Turkey
The move marks Mostafa Mohamed's return to Turkish football, where he already has experience after previously playing for Galatasaray.
He joined Nantes from Galatasaray on loan in the summer of 2022 before the French club made the transfer permanent the following season for around €5.75 million.
During his four-season spell with Nantes, the Egyptian forward made 136 appearances in all competitions and scored 29 goals.
After the end of his time in France, Mostafa Mohamed decided to return to Turkey through Konyaspor, a club looking to strengthen its attacking options with an experienced striker.
The signing ceremony took place at the Konyaspor Museum inside the club's stadium, with club officials attending before the deal was officially announced.
Mostafa will now hope that his previous experience in Turkish football will help him settle quickly into his new surroundings.
Knowing the league, its stadiums and the style of football could also make his adjustment easier as he begins another important stage of his career.
