National Bank of Egypt head coach Ayman El-Ramady went through a difficult few hours after suffering a sudden health problem on Saturday morning, which required him to be taken to hospital for medical examinations and treatment.

The club later provided an update on its head coach, confirming that El-Ramady underwent a medical procedure in which a stent was inserted. His condition then improved significantly and became stable, providing reassurance to the club's supporters and Egyptian football fans.

Stent Inserted, Condition Stable

El-Ramady was taken to hospital after suffering the sudden health issue so doctors could assess his condition and provide the required medical care.

During his stay, the National Bank head coach underwent a medical procedure that included the insertion of a stent.

Medical reports later confirmed that his condition had become largely stable following the procedure.

National Bank issued an official statement explaining the latest developments and said El-Ramady's condition was reassuring. He is expected to leave hospital on Sunday if his recovery continues as expected.

The club's board, headed by Ashraf Nassar, also wished the coach a full and speedy recovery and expressed hope that he would be able to return to his duties with the first team as soon as possible.

The official update eased concerns that had grown following the initial news of El-Ramady's hospitalization.

El-Ramady's health scare comes only days before National Bank's next Egyptian Premier League match against Ghazl El Mahalla, meaning his possible presence with the team will depend on his recovery and medical condition.

National Bank are scheduled to face Ghazl El Mahalla at Cairo International Stadium at 8:00 p.m. on Monday in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League.

The team started the season with a 1-0 defeat against Abu Qir Fertilizers before losing 3-0 to Zamalek in the second round.

National Bank then responded in their third match by securing their first victory of the season, defeating Petrol Asyut 1-0 to collect their first three points.

The club currently sit 13th in the league table with three points from three matches, having recorded one victory and two defeats.

National Bank have scored one goal so far this season while conceding four.

For now, however, the main focus inside the club remains El-Ramady's health. His condition has been described as stable, with attention now turning to his expected discharge from hospital and his gradual return to work whenever his health allows.
