Egyptian table tennis star Hana Goda continued her strong run on the international stage after securing an important victory at the World Series event in Macau, booking her place among the final 16 players.

Goda defeated Brazil’s Bruna Takahashi 3-1 in the Round of 32, earning a place in the Round of 16 of a tournament featuring several of the world’s leading players.

Strong Win and Qualification

Hana Goda controlled her match against Takahashi before completing a 3-1 victory. She will now face the winner of the match between Germany’s Nina Mittelham and China’s Chen Xingtong.

The Macau tournament includes several highly ranked international players, making Goda’s victory an important step as she looks to continue her progress.

Two Egyptians Through

Hana Goda was not the only Egyptian player to advance from the Round of 32. Dina Meshref defeated China’s Wang Yidi, the world No. 5, by a 3-1 score to secure her own place in the Round of 16.
