After Being Left Out Against Real Betis.. Hamza Abdelkarim Returns for PSG Showdown

Egyptian young striker Hamza Abdelkarim has returned to Barcelona's first-team squad ahead of their highly anticipated UEFA Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain, taking another important step toward his dream of playing in Europe's biggest club competition.
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick announced the squad traveling to France for Tuesday's match at the Parc des Princes, as part of Matchday 3 of the Champions League league phase.
Abdelkarim has been included among Barcelona's attacking players, giving him another opportunity to join the first team for one of the biggest matches of the European campaign.
Hamza Returns After Reserve Team Success
Hamza Abdelkarim's return comes after his recent appearance for Barcelona Atlètic against Utebo on Saturday, when the Catalan side secured a 2-1 victory.
The Egyptian forward scored an early penalty in the fifth minute, continuing his positive performances with the reserve team before receiving another call-up to the senior squad.
Abdelkarim has already made appearances for Barcelona's first team, playing a total of 12 minutes across two matches against Rayo Vallecano and Getafe.
These appearances have given the young Egyptian valuable experience as he continues working toward earning more opportunities under Hansi Flick.
His latest selection is another encouraging sign, showing that he remains among the players considered by the coaching staff, although his involvement against PSG has not yet been confirmed.
A European Opportunity Awaits Hamza
Egyptian football fans are eagerly waiting to see whether Abdelkarim will get the chance to play against Paris Saint-Germain, especially with strong competition for places in Barcelona's attack.
The squad includes attacking stars such as Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Karim Adeyemi, Gabriel Jesus and Anthony Gordon, alongside Abdelkarim, making the battle for playing time particularly difficult.
Despite the competition, traveling with Barcelona's first team to France represents an important step in the Egyptian striker's professional career.
It also gives him another chance to gain experience alongside established players and become more familiar with the demands of top-level European football.
If Abdelkarim gets the opportunity to feature, it would be a memorable moment in his career, particularly against a major European club in the UEFA Champions League.
The final decision remains with Hansi Flick, who will assess the team's needs and the circumstances of the match before deciding whether to use the Egyptian youngster.
For Abdelkarim, the main goal will be to make the most of any opportunity he receives and continue proving that he deserves a regular place in Barcelona's first-team plans.
