Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has announced his squad for the highly anticipated El Clasico against Real Madrid on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in the tenth round of La Liga, with Egyptian youngster Hamza Abdel Karim included in the squad.

Barcelona will host their historic rivals Real Madrid at 11:00 PM Cairo time in one of the biggest matches of the Spanish football season, as both teams aim to secure three important points in the title race.

Barcelona enter the match at the top of the La Liga standings with 27 points, while Real Madrid sit in third place with 21 points.

The six-point gap makes this match especially important, as Barcelona hope to strengthen their lead while Real Madrid look to close the distance and improve their position in the league table.

Hamza in El Clasico

One of the biggest surprises in Barcelona's squad is the inclusion of Egyptian youngster Hamza Abdel Karim, who has been selected for the highly anticipated match against Real Madrid.

His inclusion gives him the opportunity to experience the atmosphere of one of the biggest football matches in the world.

Barcelona are dealing with several absences ahead of the game, which has led head coach Hansi Flick to include several young players alongside his regular first-team stars.

For Hamza Abdel Karim, being part of the El Clasico squad represents an important opportunity to gain experience, even if he does not play during the match.

The young Egyptian will have the chance to experience the pressure and excitement of a historic rivalry between two of the biggest clubs in world football.

Barcelona will be without several players, including Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, and Dani Olmo, creating additional challenges for Flick ahead of the important fixture.
