Marmoush Nears Manchester City Exit as Tottenham Move Takes Shape

Omar Marmoush is edging closer to a new chapter in the Premier League, with his potential move from Manchester City to Tottenham reaching an advanced stage during the current summer transfer window. The Egyptian star is believed to be seeking a bigger role and more consistent playing time.
Recent developments indicate that Marmoush has already agreed on personal terms with Tottenham, while discussions between the London club and Manchester City continue over the final details of the deal. The move could see the Egyptian forward leave the Etihad before the transfer window closes.
Personal Terms Agreed, Clubs Near Final Step
Marmoush's ability to operate both as a central striker and in wide attacking positions makes him an attractive option for Tottenham, who are looking to add more variety and attacking quality to their squad.
Reports suggest that negotiations have reached an advanced stage, with a potential fee of around £70 million, plus performance-related add-ons. The player could undergo his medical once the final agreement between the two clubs is completed.
Tottenham are continuing their efforts to strengthen their attacking department, while Marmoush sees the potential move as an opportunity to secure a more prominent role and regain his best form through regular football.
A New Chance to Shine
Marmoush has already demonstrated his attacking quality in European football. During his impressive spell with Eintracht Frankfurt, he scored 37 goals and registered 20 assists in 67 appearances before making his move to Manchester City.
Since joining City in January 2025, the Egyptian international has featured in 62 matches, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists. However, his desire for greater involvement appears to be a major factor behind his possible departure.
If the transfer is completed, Marmoush will begin a new challenge in the Premier League, hoping for more regular minutes and a bigger opportunity to make an impact. Tottenham, meanwhile, would be adding a versatile and dynamic attacker capable of influencing matches from several positions.
The official announcement now remains the final step, with negotiations continuing between the two clubs and attention turning to whether Marmoush will soon begin a new chapter in a Tottenham shirt.
