Haissem Hassan Makes First Start as Celtic Beat Falkirk and Strengthen Their Lead

Egypt international Haissem Hassan made a strong impression on his first start for Celtic as the Scottish side secured a 2-1 victory over Falkirk on Saturday in the Scottish Premiership.
The Egyptian winger was handed his first starting opportunity since joining Celtic from Real Oviedo and delivered an encouraging performance before leaving the pitch around the 63rd minute, with James Forrest replacing him.
Impressive First Start
Hassan looked lively on the flanks, using his pace and technical ability to carry the ball forward and create attacking danger, earning positive reactions from Celtic supporters after the game.
Several fans praised the Egyptian winger on social media, highlighting his speed, skill, ability to use both feet and flexibility to operate in different attacking positions, as well as his crossing ability.
Hassan also received an encouraging reception from the Celtic supporters when he left the pitch, reflecting the positive impression he made in his first appearance in the starting XI.
Duran Brace Seals It
Celtic needed little time to take control of the match, with Camilo Duran opening the scoring in the fourth minute after taking advantage of a defensive mistake.
Duran struck again in the 29th minute, converting a delivery from Kieran Tierney to give Celtic a comfortable two-goal advantage before halftime.
Falkirk attempted to respond after the break and reduced the deficit in the 72nd minute when Colby Donovan scored an own goal, but Celtic held on to secure all three points.
The victory moved Celtic onto nine points at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings, while Falkirk remained on one point in 11th place.
Celtic will next turn their attention to a league meeting with Aberdeen, while Hassan will hope to build on his promising first start and establish himself as a regular option in the team.
