ENPPI Player Suspended Ahead of Al Ahly Clash as Pyramids Coach Also Punished

In an effort to reinforce discipline within the competition and ensure fair play, the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association has announced the official sanctions for the fifth round of the final stage of the Egyptian Premier League season 2025-2026. The decisions included disciplinary measures against members of Pyramids FC and ENPPI.
The rulings came after reviewing the refereeing reports of the match between both teams, reflecting the association’s strict enforcement of league regulations, especially during this crucial phase of the season.
Suspensions For Technical Staff And Players
The sanctions included a one-match suspension for Pyramids FC head coach, along with a fine of 5000 Egyptian pounds, after receiving a third yellow card, which automatically triggers suspension according to the regulations.
In the same context, ENPPI player Aqtay Abdullah Basyouni was also suspended for one match and fined 5000 Egyptian pounds after accumulating three yellow cards, which rules him out of the next fixture for his team.
Strict Application Of League Regulations
The association confirmed that these measures are in line with Article 54 of the Egyptian Premier League regulations for the 2025-2026 season, which governs disciplinary actions related to accumulated cautions for players, coaching staff, administrative, and medical teams alike.
The association emphasized that the goal of these sanctions is to ensure the highest level of discipline on the pitch, contributing to a more competitive environment and maintaining fairness across all teams in the league.
