Watch: An Unexpected Gift for Al Hilal.. A Costly Mistake Denies Al Nassr an Early Title Celebration

In a match packed with drama and excitement, Al Nassr failed to secure the Saudi Pro League title after a last-gasp 1–1 draw against Al Hilal, keeping the championship race wide open until the final round in one of the most tense season endings in recent memory.
A Costly Mistake
Al Nassr were on the verge of sealing the title after taking the lead through French defender Mohamed Simakan, delivering a disciplined performance and controlling large parts of the match as they edged closer to lifting the trophy before the season’s end.
But one moment changed everything. In the final seconds, Brazilian goalkeeper Bento made a disastrous error while dealing with a cross inside the penalty area, pushing the ball into his own net in the 90+8 minute, gifting Al Hilal a dramatic equaliser.
That mistake was not just a simple slip—it was a turning point that brought Al Hilal back into the title race after Al Nassr were seconds away from closing it out, turning the final rounds into a full-blown battle between the two giants.
A Heated Title Race
With this draw, the Saudi Pro League standings became even more complicated. Al Nassr remain at the top but missed the chance to clinch the title early, while Al Hilal kept their hopes alive heading into the final round, in a race where every mistake now matters.
The competition has become more intense than ever, with both teams entering the final stages under immense pressure, where every single point could decide the championship in what has become an open and unpredictable battle until the end.
Ronaldo Sends a Message After the Shock
After the final whistle, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo appeared visibly affected by the late setback, but he quickly delivered a positive message to his teammates and fans, stressing that the title is still within reach and full focus is required for the final match to secure the championship.
His message aimed to lift the squad’s morale after the devastating last-minute goal that changed the entire course of the match in seconds and kept the title race alive until the very end.
