According to the reported terms, Trezeguet will receive a progressive salary structure with Al Riyadh. He is set to earn $200,000 per month during the first six months of the contract before his monthly salary increases to $275,000 for the following six months. The same payment structure is expected to continue if he remains with the club for the second season.

The financial package appears to have played a major role in convincing the Egyptian international to accept the move, particularly after negotiations over his salary for the upcoming season with Al Ahly reportedly reached an impasse.

Why Didn't Al Ahly Announce His Destination?

One of the biggest questions following Al Ahly's official statement was why the club chose not to mention Al Riyadh as Trezeguet's next destination.

According to reports, Al Riyadh is currently subject to a registration ban, preventing the club from registering new signings until outstanding disciplinary and administrative matters are resolved.
