In a decision that reflects Pyramids FC’s desire to reshape its technical project, the Egyptian club officially appointed South African coach Rulani Mokwena as the new head coach of the first team, succeeding Croatian manager Krunoslav Juričić.

Throughout his coaching career, Mokwena has won several major titles, including four South African league championships with Sundowns, the inaugural African Football League title, and the Algerian Super Cup during his time with MC Alger.
