Liverpool manager Arne Slot has sparked controversy after his recent comments about Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, expressing hope that the player could deliver even more before the end of the season, despite his expected departure.

Slot’s remarks quickly drew attention, opening debate about Salah’s contribution, especially considering his consistent performances and major achievements with the club over the years.

Strong Response from Egypt Camp

The comments did not go unanswered. Mohamed Morad, media coordinator of the Egypt national team, responded firmly, suggesting that such criticism should be directed at the coach himself rather than the player.

This reaction reflects growing frustration among those close to Salah, particularly as his time at Liverpool appears to be nearing its end after a highly successful spell.

Rising Pressure Ahead of Season End

These developments come at a sensitive moment for Liverpool, with inconsistent results increasing pressure on the coaching staff.

At the same time, many believe that asking a player like Mohamed Salah to give “more” after everything he has achieved may be unfair, especially with his confirmed exit approaching.

As the season draws to a close, attention now turns to how these tensions might affect the dressing room atmosphere and whether the situation could lead to further changes within the club.
