Egyptian squash continues to write new chapters of global dominance after both the boys’ and girls’ national teams were crowned champions of the 2026 World Junior Squash Championships in Canada.

The tournament, held in Ontario from July 25 to 31, once again highlighted the strength of Egypt’s rising generation and confirmed that the country’s dominance of the sport remains firmly intact.

The team titles came as an extension of Egypt’s impressive success in the individual competitions, where Egyptian players claimed seven medals across different categories, underlining the depth of talent within the country’s squash system and its ability to compete at the highest level.

Two Finals, Two Egyptian Titles

Egypt’s boys’ team delivered a dominant performance in the final against the United States, securing the title and successfully retaining the championship after an impressive run throughout the tournament.

The squad featured individual world champion Mohamed Zakaria, runner-up Adam Hawal, and bronze medalists Marwan Asal and Seif El-Din El-Rifai. The quartet produced a strong campaign that ended with Egypt once again standing at the top of the podium.

Egypt’s girls’ team also continued its remarkable form, defeating Malaysia in the final to retain the world title and demonstrate the strength of the country’s next generation of female squash players.
