Watch: Salah Mania Grips Trabzon.. Egyptian Star Nears Blockbuster Trabzonspor Move

Mohamed Salah’s potential move to Turkish club Trabzonspor has entered a new and increasingly dramatic stage after the club announced the Egyptian star’s expected arrival in Turkey.
However, reports indicate that Salah has not signed the final contract yet, with additional demands still being discussed between the player’s representatives and the club.
Trabzonspor’s announcement that negotiations had officially begun created enormous excitement among supporters. The club also released a video featuring Egypt’s pyramids, a move widely viewed as a signal that Salah was getting closer to joining the team.
Despite the growing anticipation and reports of a preliminary agreement, the transfer has not yet reached its final stage, as several details remain under discussion before an official announcement can be made.
Arrival Without a Signature
Trabzonspor confirmed that Salah is expected to arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport on Wednesday before traveling to Trabzon later in the evening.
The Egyptian captain is expected to complete the remaining transfer procedures and undergo medical examinations, but his arrival does not mean that the contract has already been signed.
According to reports, Salah has not yet put his signature on the final agreement, while new demands and additional contractual details continue to be discussed.
Trabzonspor has not officially revealed the contract length, financial terms or signing date. The club has only confirmed the start of negotiations and the player’s travel schedule, with further details expected to be announced through its official channels.
The developments come after weeks of negotiations, following earlier reports linking Salah with a move to Beşiktaş. Those talks reportedly collapsed due to disagreements involving financial terms and image rights.
Salary and Supporters
Turkish reports have suggested that Salah could sign a two-year contract worth around €17 million per season, in addition to bonuses, performance incentives and a percentage of sales involving shirts and merchandise carrying his name.
Some estimates indicate that the total value of the deal could approach or exceed €50 million if the parties reach a final agreement covering all financial and commercial terms.
Trabzonspor is also believed to be counting on Salah’s enormous commercial influence, with expectations of strong shirt sales, increased sponsorship revenue and greater international attention for the club and the Turkish league.
News of the potential transfer has already generated major excitement in Trabzon, with reports of increased demand for season tickets and expectations of a historic presentation ceremony.
The move would come after the end of Salah’s nine-year spell with Liverpool, where he achieved major team and individual success and established himself as one of the club’s greatest players.
As Salah prepares to arrive in Turkey, the final steps remain the most important. His arrival and medical examinations would not represent official confirmation of the transfer, especially while new demands are still being discussed.
Trabzonspor supporters are now waiting to see whether the coming hours will bring a signature that opens a new chapter in Salah’s career or further negotiations before a final agreement is reached.
