Mohamed Salah has officially begun his journey with Turkish side Trabzonspor after signing a two-year contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2028. The move comes on a free transfer following the expiration of his Liverpool contract, marking a new challenge in the Turkish Super Lig after nine successful seasons in English football.

Trabzonspor confirmed the signing through an official statement, accompanied by photos of Salah signing his contract. The club described the deal as one of its most significant acquisitions in recent years before introducing the Egyptian captain to supporters at Papara Park.

The Turkish club also revealed the financial terms of the agreement.
