Zamalek SC is preparing for a crucial meeting with their star player, Ahmed Fatouh, to discuss renewing his contract, as the club looks determined to secure his long-term future.

This move comes at a critical time, with the player’s current deal set to expire at the end of next season, prompting the management to act early and avoid any uncertainty.

Post-season talks planned

The meeting between the player, his agent, and club officials is expected to take place after the current season ends, as Zamalek remains focused on competing for the league title and continuing their CAF Confederation Cup campaign.

Club officials consider Fatouh a key figure in the squad, especially after his consistent and impressive performances, making him one of the most reliable players in the team.

Zamalek is keen to finalize the deal early to prevent any external interest from distracting the player during a decisive phase of the season.

Improved contract on the table

The club has decided to offer a new financial package, including a signing bonus and improved salary terms, placing Fatouh among the top earners in the squad.

This reflects his importance and the role he plays in the team’s structure, both defensively and offensively.

At the same time, the club is prioritizing this renewal alongside resolving the transfer ban issue, which has affected their recent plans.

Securing Fatouh’s contract is seen as a key step toward obtaining the CAF license and ensuring participation in continental competitions next season.
