Al Ahly SC's head coach appears set to rely on a largely unchanged lineup against Smouha SC in a crucial Egyptian league clash.

The decision reflects a clear intention to maintain tactical stability, especially after inconsistent performances in recent matches.

One Change, Big Impact Up Front

The only expected adjustment comes in the striker position, with Mohamed Sherif likely to start ahead of Marwan Othman.

This move signals a push for greater attacking efficiency, as Al Ahly look to improve their finishing after struggling to convert chances despite spells of dominance.

Meanwhile, midfield selection remains flexible, offering the coach multiple tactical options depending on the game flow.

Balanced Lineup, But Performance is Key

On paper, the lineup provides balance between defensive solidity and attacking threat, with experienced defenders and creative players like Trezeguet and Zizo leading the offense.

However, the real challenge lies beyond the names—it’s about delivering a convincing performance.

This match is more than just three points; it’s an opportunity for Al Ahly to rebuild confidence and reassert themselves in the title race.
