With this victory over Pyramids, Zamalek’s points tally increased to 49, maintaining its position at the top of the table and widening the gap between them and their closest competitors to 5 points. This win has given the Whites a significant advantage in the race for the Premier League title, as they now only need 3 more victories from their remaining matches to guarantee the championship.
