Ismaily is going through one of the most difficult periods in its history, with mounting financial problems and increasing pressure threatening the club’s plans to regain stability. The largest claims include those of Ivorian player Jean Morel, Algerian midfielder Mohamed Benkhemassa, Tunisian striker Firas Chaouat, and Hamdi Nagguez, in addition to financial dues owed to Nogoom El Mostakbal Club.

According to current estimates, the club must pay more than $2.9 million in addition to 600,000 Swiss francs, placing Ismaily in the middle of one of the biggest financial crises in its modern history. Resolving these cases has become a mandatory step for lifting the FIFA-imposed registration ban and allowing the club to sign new players.

Amid these challenges, Ismaily received a major boost after successfully resolving the case of Mohamed Amin Koné. The player's case was officially removed from FIFA’s records following the settlement of approximately $205,000 in outstanding dues.

This development represents the first real breakthrough in the club’s efforts to solve its legal and financial issues, reducing the number of remaining international cases to four and restoring a sense of optimism among club officials and supporters.

At the same time, the club’s management continues to search for solutions, whether through donation campaigns supported by former players and fans or through efforts aimed at bringing the influential Othman family back into the scene to help restore financial and administrative stability.

With the new season approaching, Ismaily faces a critical test. Much of the club’s future plans depend on its ability to close this difficult chapter and open a new one that could help restore its position among Egypt’s top football clubs.
