Egypt's U16 Women's Handball Team Ready for World Championship Challenge in Morocco

Egypt's U16 women's handball team is preparing for a new challenge on the international stage as it gets ready to compete in the World Championship, which begins in Morocco on October 16.
The Egyptian team hopes to deliver strong performances and achieve positive results against opponents with different playing styles.
Led by head coach Qassem Ibrahim, the team aims to make the most of its young players' abilities and show the progress of Egyptian women's handball.
The tournament also offers an important opportunity for the players to gain international experience and compete against strong teams.
Egypt's Match Schedule
Egypt will begin its World Championship campaign against Russia on Friday, October 16, at 7:15 PM.
The team will then face Switzerland on Sunday, October 18, at 7:15 PM, before playing its third scheduled match against Argentina on Tuesday, October 20, at the same time.
These three matches will be an important test for the Egyptian side, as each opponent brings a different style of handball.
The coaching staff will focus on preparing the players for these challenges and helping them maintain a strong level of performance throughout the tournament.
Egypt's Squad
Head coach Qassem Ibrahim has selected an 18-player squad, all born in 2010, to represent Egypt at the World Championship.
The goalkeepers are Mariam Ahmed, Omnia Mostafa, and Nourhan, while Farida Belal and Remas Eissawy will play as left wings.
The left backs are Salma Ibrahim, Mariam Salah, and Rodina Hamdoun, while Haya Sayed and Rawaya Ibrahim have been selected as playmakers.
On the right wing, Egypt will rely on Jana Ali and Salma Ahmed.
The right backs are Sama Diaa, Farah Adly, and Sedra Mohamed.
The squad also includes three line players: Jana Hany, Mariam Ammar, and Rowina Maged.
With players covering all positions, Egypt is preparing to compete against Russia, Switzerland, and Argentina with the aim of producing strong performances.
Beyond the results, the tournament will give Egypt's young players valuable experience at the international level.
It is also an important step in developing a new generation of talent capable of representing Egyptian handball in major competitions in the coming years.
